Privacy Policy
Effective April 2026
What data we collect
When you use Tontive, we may collect the following information:
- Email address — used to create and authenticate your account
- Display name — shown to other pool participants
- Photos submitted for check-ins — used to verify behavioral compliance within pools
- Location data — optionally provided and used only as additional context for check-in verification
How we use your data
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate the Tontive platform and manage pool participation
- Verify behavioral compliance through AI-powered analysis of submitted photos
- Calculate and maintain your Tontive Score, a portable behavioral reputation based on verified actions
AI photo verification
Photos you submit as part of pool check-ins are processed by AI systems to analyze context, consistency, and authenticity. This analysis is used solely to verify that the behavioral commitment was completed as claimed. Photos are not used for any other purpose and are not shared publicly.
Location data
Providing location data is optional. When provided, it is used only to add verification context to your check-ins. We do not track your location outside of voluntary check-in submissions.
Demonstration platform
Tontive is currently a demonstration platform. All pools use play money — no real funds are at risk. This policy applies to all data collected during this demonstration phase.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. Data may be shared only as required to operate the platform (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers) or as required by law.
